Tally Ho Talamone

1 June 2016

Talamone, Italy - The third act of the Sailing Series® takes place this weekend, June 3-5 at Talamone. Seven nations will be represented by the more than robust and ready-to-go fleet of eleven.

After two events complete (Portovenere, Stage 1 and Porto Ercole, Stage 2), Vincenzo Onorato’s Mascalzone Latino leads the overall ranking by a slim margin. In second overall is fleet newcomer Matteo Balestrero’s Giogi, then International Class Chairman Giangiacomo Serena di Lapigio’s G-SPOT rounding out the top three.

Other high-powered, seriously super-charged teams include Richard Goransson’s Inga From Sweden, Ahmet Eker’s Eker and Lasse Petterson’s Pippa. All three teams are firmly in position to advance and with the ranking half over, no time could be more key than now for them to strike in an effort to win big in 2016, at a minimum grab a very precious and highly coveted podium position finish. Racing starts Friday and concludes on Sunday. A maximum of eight races are scheduled, with each team discarding her worst score after six races.

Post Talamone, it’s onward to fantastic and exciting Riva Del Garda for the final showdown.
