29 September 2006

29 SEPTEMBER 2006 Oh the weather outside will be delightful this coming December 1-3 in sunny Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where the Melges 32 Class will host a winter training regatta! With many boats migrating south, this will be perfect event and venue to get the most out your M32.

The wires are buzzing with excitement as boats are being sold, and sightings at big name boat shows in high profile places are common the crowds are mounting chatting it up about this amazing super racer!

The Lauderdale Yacht Club will host this regatta. An emphasis will be placed on training, speed and sail tuning, boat handling and... post race discussions! The plan is to hold four races per day, purposely short in length to emphasize practice on starts, mark roundings, crew work, boat handling the whole package a total fleet tune-up. Opportunities like this don't come along often, so now is the time to make a decision on attending.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you and your team are interested in this one-of-a-kind event, please email ANDY BURDICK before Sunday, October 1 with your intent to participate. This event is very special, and planning must progress with the Lauderdale Yacht Club.
