This event is the perfect stop on the fleet’s journey to the World Championship in San Francisco, Calif. USA on September 22-25, hosted by the prestigious St. Francis Yacht Club.

The Race Committee, along with the Board of Directors and membership of the Little Traverse Yacht Club, invites all Melges 32 teams worldwide to participate in the 2010 Melges 32 U.S. National Championship, in Harbor Springs, Michigan, July 30-August 1, 2010. This event also happens to be the 50th LTYC Regatta. This event is going to be one great big party!

Once again, LTYC promises this event will be the highlight of the summer racing season. The Melges 32’s have scheduled nine windward/leeward races starting Thursday, July 29th through Sunday, August 1st. This event will attract not only U.S. entrants, but we expect international participation as well. The Melges 32 fleet is a rapidly growing, highly competitive fleet, attracting top sailors from around the world. LTYC is honored to host this event and be able to showcase the outstanding sailing venue Little Traverse Bay offers.

Due to the expected number of entrants we urge you to sign up as early as possible as we are certain that the limit of 88 participating yachts will be reached quickly.

The Irish Boat Shop Ugotta Regatta dockside party will again be held on Friday evening. On Saturday and Sunday, after racing, a complimentary buffet for you and your crew will be available at the waterfront LTYC clubhouse. Don't miss this chance to compete on beautiful Little Traverse Bay with the best boats in the Midwest, and this year from throughout the country.

All registration this year, as well as scoring, will be handled through www.yachtscoring.com. You can learn more about the Regatta, see the Notice of Race and find links to Registration, lodging, restaurants, etc. at our website, www.LTYC.org.

Everyone at LTYC is looking forward to your participation in the fifth running of the Melges 32 U.S. National Championship. We hope you that you will join us for this top-notch sailing event!
