Twenty-One Melges 32 Teams Assemble At Key West Race Week

2011 Key West Race Week is expected to deliver five full days the very best in Melges 32 one design racing. Second largest in fleet size to the highly acclaimed Melges 24, the 21-strong Melges 32 fleet is ready to slice the beautiful azure waters of Key West, Florida with speed and supersonic intensity. The 2011 fleet enjoys a diverse mix of teams from the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Italy, British Virgin Islands, Japan and the United States. From John Kilroy’s staple legend Samba Pa Ti (also defending Key West champion) and Joe Woods’ Red, Gold Cup runner-up Steve Howe’s Warpath to the colorful Dougie Douglass on Goombay Smash this fleet is super charged with talent.
