1 December 2011

Without a doubt, for the next three days here in Fort Lauderdale, FL at the Gold Cup, all eyes will be firmly glued to the hot competition and superlative racing action set to be delivered by the Melges 32 Class. Eighteen amazing teams are ready to go as South Florida's sunny conditions will bring on the breeze. Check out this forecast from NOAA. So, hold on to your hats and away we go!

THE BLOG
To complement, the IM32CA will be providing brief postings and play-by-play updates via the Official Melges 32 Blog. Periodically, we’ll also post to the Official Melges 32 Facebook Page.

PHOTOS
Forecasts thus far are predicting some absolutely beautiful racing conditions. Teams are really pumped about the warmth, the sunshine and hopefully, some really nice breeze. These key ingredients usually make for amazing imagery. The class will be uploading a photo gallery in which links, etc. will be posted over all Melges 32 Media outlets, the web and several Facebook pages. Official Lauderdale Yacht Club Photographer John Payne and Sail Fast Photo’s Sara Proctor will have their best lenses on so, we hope to be bringing everyone some really beautiful shots over the next few days.
